In May 2011, I wrote these words on my blog profile: "For September 2011 to August 2012, I will be starting a new
journey: interning with Camp
All-American. My heart and passions lie
here - exposing kids to the love of Jesus through sport and play. Needless to say, I am stoked! And, yes, I will be extremely busy throughout
the year spreading the gospel to children and adults, raising support, and
figuring out what "I am going to do when I grow up." This is my blog: letting supporters know
what's going on with me as I am living the dream at CAA. Gonna be a good
ride..."
Now (September 2012), I can say it has been a good ride. Without a doubt. When asked if I had any regrets about the internship, I responded, "Honestly, only one. Wishing I would have stayed in better touch with my supporters." That is the honest truth. Loved this year. Learned so much. Was able to be a part of some super neat things God did. So, thank you so much for giving, praying, chatting, and even reading this blog. Ha. And, making it officially official...next up is: NorthStar Youth Ministries in Birmingham, AL.
